illustrate
The LP3995 linear regulator is designed to meet the requirements of portable battery-powered applications and will provide a precise output voltage with low noise and low quiescent current. Ideally used to drive the inadaptation of RF/analog devices, this equipment will also be used to meet the needs of a wider range of circuits where a quick shutdown is essential.
For low dropout voltage in battery-powered applications, low ground current is provided by the device to maximize battery life. Enabling (/ off) control further expands the system, reducing battery life with near-zero power consumption.
Enable (/ disable) the function of the device to be integrated in a faster device shutdown output discharge circuit activity. For example, quick shutdown of unwanted LP3999 linear regulators is recommended.
The LP3995 also has internal protection against short-circuit current and over-temperature conditions.
The LP3995 is designed to be stable with a small ceramic capacitor of 1.0μF. The LP3995 micro requires a ceramic capacitor SMD package in a small form factor that enables applications within the smallest board area.
Performance is specified for a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
