The LP5551 is a PWI 1.0 standard for consumption management systems for power reduction stand-alone machines, such as baseband or application processors for mobile phone processors.

The LP5551 includes two advanced digitally controlled switching regulators that provide variable voltage processor cores and memory. Both regulations provide P- and N- as well as threshold bias for extended applications. The device also integrates 4 programmable LDO regulators for driving I/O, PLL, and memory retention in shutdown mode.

The device is open standard interface via control PWI. Operates and collaborates with the LP5551 PowerWise™ technology-compatible processor to optimize supply voltages for adaptive multi-process and temperature variations or dynamically uses frequency/voltage pre-characterized lookup tables and provides threshold proportional bias for P- and N-wells.
