The LP5951 regulator is designed to meet the requirements of portable, battery-powered systems that provide stable output voltages and low quiescent current. When switching through the enable pin logic signal shutdown mode, the power dissipation is reduced to almost zero.

The LP5951 is designed for small 1μF ceramic capacitors to stabilize.

The LP5951 also has internal protection against short-circuit currents and overtemperature conditions.

Performance is specified over the -40°C to 125°C temperature range.

The device is available in SOT23-5 and SC70-5 packages.
