The LP5951 regulator is designed to meet the portable, battery-powered system requirements of providing a regulated output voltage and low quiescent current. When switching off mode, the power dissipation is reduced to almost zero through the logic signal at the enable pin.
The LP5951 is designed for small 1μF ceramic capacitor stabilization.
The LP5951 also has internal protection against short-circuit currents and overtemperature conditions.
Performance is specified over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
The device is available in SOT23-5 and SC70-5 packages.
