illustrate
The LP5952 is a dual rail optimized linear regulator powered by an ultra-low voltage circuit from a single Li-ion battery or a 3-cell NiMH/NiCd battery.
In typical post-regulation applications V BAT is connected directly to the battery (2.5V ... 5.5V) and V IN are DC-DC converters with output voltages (range 0.7V ... 4.5V) provided.
The device offers excellent dropout rates and transients combined with very low quiescent current. In shutdown mode (enable pin pull-low) the device shuts down and power consumption is reduced to 0.1μA (typical).
The LP5952 also provides protection against internal overtemperature, overcurrent and undervoltage conditions.
Specify a junction temperature range with performance from -40°C to 125°C.
The device is available in a very small 5-ball micro SMD and 6-pin LLP package chip, lead-free.
The device provides a fixed output voltage ranging from 0.5V to 2.0V. For availability, please contact your local NSC sales office.
