®The LT 1009 is a precision-trimmed 2.5V shunt regulator diode with a maximum initial tolerance of only ±5mV. Its low dynamic impedance and wide operating current range enhance its versatility. A reference tolerance of 0.2% is achieved using on-chip trimming, which not only minimizes the initial voltage tolerance but also minimizes temperature drift. Although no adjustment is required with the LT1009, the third terminal provides a ±5% reference voltage regulation range designed to calibrate for system errors. In many applications, the LT1009 can be used as a pin-compatible replacement for the LM136 and eliminates the need for external trimming of the network.
