The RH1028 (with -1 stable gain) and RH1128 (with +1 stable gain) achieve a new standard of superior noise performance with 0.9nV/√Hz 1kHz noise and 1.0nV/√Hz 10Hz noise. This ultra-low noise is combined with excellent high-speed specifications (75MHz gain-bandwidth product for the RH1028 vs. 20MHz for the RH1128), distortion-free output, and true precision parameters (0.25μV/°C drift, 20μV offset voltage, 25 million voltage gain) combined. Although the RH1028/RH1128 input stages operate at collector currents close to 1mA (designed for low voltage noise), the input bias current is only 50nA.
The voltage noise of the RH1028/RH1128 is lower than that of a 50Ω resistor. As a result, the RH1028/RH1128 has a negligible effect on overall system noise, even in very low source impedance transducer or audio amplifier applications.
