LT1032CSW
Four low-power line drivers
peculiarity
- Low operating voltage: ± 5V to ± 15V
- 500μA supply current
- Zero shutdown, supply current
- The output can drive ± 30V
- Thermal limiting
- When output "on", off (tri-state)
- 10mA output driver
- The pins are similar to 1488
® The LT 1032 is an RS232 and RS423 line driver operating over a low supply current range of ± 5V to ± 15V and can be turned off to zero supply current. The output is fully protected ± 30V externally applied voltage, current, and thermal limits. Power supply requirements are minimized due to fluctuations of 200mV with output positive and negative supply voltages of 600mV.
A strobe pin is also included to force the independence of all outputs for low input or off conditions. In addition, the slew rate can be adjusted by a resistor connected to the power supply.
A major advantage of the LT1032 is that it is powered off or powered down when the high impedance output is present.
For applications requiring dual or triple RS-232 driver/receiver devices, see the LT1180A (dual), LT1039A (triple), or LT1130A datasheet.
