™LT 1130A/LT1140A RS232 Driver/Receiver features a special bipolar type of construction technology that protects the driver and receiver beyond fault conditions for RS232. Driver output and receiver input, can short-circuit up to ± 30V without damaging the device or power generator. In addition, the RS232 I/O pins are resilient to multiple ± 10kV ESD shock.
