® The LT 1182/LT1183 are dual-current-mode switching regulators that provide cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) and liquid crystal display (LCD) contrast control. The LT1184/LT1184F only provides CCFL functionality. The integrated circuit includes a high-current, high-efficiency switch, an oscillator, a reference, logic for the output driver, control block, and protection circuitry. The LT1182 licenses positive or negative voltage LCD contrast operation. The LT1183 allows for internal reference monopolar contrast operation and pins. The LT1182/LT1183 supports both ground and floating light configurations. LT1184F supports both grounding and floating light configurations. The LT1184 only supports ground light configurations
