description
® The LT 1207 is a two-channel version of the LT1206 high-speed current feedback amplifier. Each dual LT1206 has excellent video characteristics: 60MHz bandwidth, minimum output drive current of 250mA, lowest slew rate of 400V/μs, low differential gain (0.02% typical), and low differential phase (0.17° typical). The LT1207 includes an optional compensation network to stabilize the amplifier pins for large capacitive loads. Both amplifiers have thermal and current limit circuitry that is protected in the event of a fault condition. These capabilities make the LT1207 ideal for driving where cables in video or digital communication systems are difficult to load. Operation is fully specified from ± 5V to ± 15V supply. The supply current of each amplifier is typically 20 mA. Two micropower shutdown controls are placed on each amplifier in high impedance low current mode, dropping the supply current by 200μA per amplifier. For bandwidth-reducing applications, the supply current can be reduced by adding a resistor in series with the shutdown pin. The LT1207 is manufactured on a complementary bipolar process from Linear and is available in a low thermal resistance 16-lead SO package.
