® The LT 1207 is a dual version of the LT1206 high speed current feedback amplifier. Like each of the LT1206s in the Court of Final Appeal, it has excellent video characteristics: 60MHz bandwidth, 250mA minimum output drive current, 400V/μs lowest slew rate, low differential gain (0.02% typical) and low differential phase (0.17° typical). The LT1207 contains an optional compensation network that stabilizes amplifier pins for large capacitive loads. Both amplifiers are thermally and current-limiting circuits protected during fault conditions. These capabilities make the LT1207 ideal for driving, such as when cables in video or digital communication systems are difficult to load. The operation fully specifies a 15V supply from ± 5V to ±. The supply current of each amplifier is typically 20 mA. Two micropower shutdown controls are placed on each high-impedance, low-current mode amplifier, reducing the supply current of 200μA per amplifier. To reduce bandwidth applications, the supply current can be reduced by adding a resistor in series with the shutdown pin. The LT1207 is manufactured on a complementary bipolar process from Linear Technology and is available in a low thermal resistance 16-lead SO package.
