® The LT 1222 is a low noise, very high speed op amp with excellent dc performance. The LT1222 is stabilized at a closed loop gain greater than or equal to 10 without compensation, or lower bandwidth and slew rate at lower cost that can be externally compensated. It features reduced input offset voltage, low input bias current, low noise, and a high dc gain ratio comparable to device bandwidth and slew rate. The circuit is a single gain stage that includes a proprietary DC gain-boosting circuit for high-speed precision. High gain and fast settling time make circuit data acquisition systems ideal. The circuit is also capable of driving capacitive loads, which makes it useful in buffer or cable driver applications. It can also be used to compensate for node clamp output swings.

The LT1222 is a fast, high performance amplifier that uses Linear Technology's advanced complementary bipolar processing family members. For unity-gain stable applications, the LT1220 can be used with the LT1221 with a gain of 4 or higher.
