description
LT®
The 1308A/LT1308B are micropower, fixed frequency step-up DC/DC converters operating from an input voltage range of 1V to 10V. They are an improvement over the LT1308 and are recommended for use in a number of new designs. The LT1308A automatically transitions to power-saving burst mode operation at light loads and consumes only 140μA at no load. The LT1308B is capable of continuous conversion at light loads and operates at 2.5mA of quiescent current. Both devices consume less than 1μA in shutdown.
The low battery level detector is significantly more accurate than the LT1308. The 200mV reference at room temperature is specified at ±2% and ±3% over the full operating temperature range. When the shutdown pin is connected to a 1V or higher voltage source (instead of V as on the LT1308.)IN

The clamping circuit improves transient response and the switching voltage rating is increased to 36V, allowing applications with higher output voltages.
The LT1308A/LT1308B are available in 8-lead SO and 14-lead TSSOP packages.
