The devices are capable of supplying 3A of output current with a dropout voltage of 0.6V.These devices are capable of delivering 3A of output current with a voltage drop of 0.6V. Designed for use in battery-powered systems, the low quiescent current, 50µA operating and 16µA in shutdown, make them an ideal choice.Designed with battery-powered systems, low quiescent current runs at 50μA and shutdown is 16μA, making them ideal for. The quiescent current is well controlled; it does not rise in dropout as it does with many other low dropout PNP regulators.Quiescent current is well controlled and it does not drop out of school as it does with many other low dropout PNP regulators. Other features of the LT1529 /LT1529-3.3/LT1529-5 include the ability to operate with small output capacitors.Other features of the LT1529/LT1529-3.3/LT1529-5 include the ability to operate small output capacitors.
