• descriptionThe LT®1581 is a 10A low dropout regulator designed to power the new generation of microprocessors.®The LT 1581 is a new generation of microprocessor power for a 10A low dropout regulator design. The dropout voltage of this device is 100mV at light loads rising to just 430mV at 10A.This device rises at a light load of 10A with a voltage drop of just 430mV to 100mV. To achieve this dropout a second low current input voltage 1V greater than the output voltage is required.To achieve this difference, a second low current input voltage higher than 1V of the output voltage is required. The device can also be used as a single supply device where dropout is comparable to an LT1584.The unit can also be used as a separate power supply unit, equivalent to an LT1584 dropout. Several other new features have been added to the LT1581.Several other new features have been added to the LT1581. A remote SENSE pin is brought out.Brings out a remote SENSE pin.
