description

®The LT 1795 is a dual-current feedback amplifier with high output current and excellent large signal characteristics. With a high slew rate, 500Ma output drive current, and up to ±15V operating voltage, it delivers considerable power over the 1MHz to 2MHz frequency range, and its short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown feature ensure that the device is not easily damaged. The LT1795 is stable under large capacitive loads, making it easy to deliver the high currents required for capacitive loads. Its shutdown feature switches the device to high-resistance, low-current operation, reducing power consumption when the device is not operating. For applications with low bandwidth, an external resistor can be used to reduce the supply current.

The LT1795 is available in a very small thermally enhanced 20-pin TSSOP package for maximum port density in line drive applications.
