®The LT 1965 is a low-noise, low-dropout linear regulator. The device provides an output current of 1.1A and a typical dropout of 310mV. It operates at 500μA quiescent current (adjustable version) and drops to less than 1μA in shutdown mode. quiescent current is in a well-controlled state; Unlike many other regulators, it does not rise under pressure drop. The LT1965 regulator has very low output noise, making it ideal for sensitive RF and DSP power applications. The output voltage varies from 1.20V to 19.5V. The LT1965 regulator is stable with output capacitors as low as 10μF. The internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, current limit with pullback protection, thermal limit, and reverse current protection. The LT1965 series is available with fixed outputs of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V, as well as as a 1.20V reference as an adjustable device. Package types are available in 5-pin TO-220, 5-pin DD-PAK, and thermally enhanced 8-pin MSOP and 8-pin 3mm x 3mm DFN.
