description

®The LT 3009 Series is a micro-power, low-dropout voltage (LDO) linear regulator. These devices provide 20mA output current and a 280mV dropout voltage. The no-load quiescent current is 3μA. When the load increases, the ground pin current remains below 5% of the output current. In shutdown mode, quiescent current The LT3009 regulator utilizes a low ESR ceramic capacitor with a minimum capacitance value of only 1μF required to optimize stability and transient response. These regulators do not require additional ESR as is common with other regulators. The internal protection circuitry includes current limiting, thermal limiting, reverse battery protection, and reverse current protection. The LT3009 series is ideal for applications that require medium output drive capability and ultra-low standby power consumption. The device is available in fixed output voltages of 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V, and can also be used as an adjustable device with an output voltage range as low as 600mV reference. The LT3009 is available in 6-pin DFN and 8-pin SC70 packages.
