  LT^®The 3015 Series is a low noise, low dropout, negative linear regulator with fast transient response. With a typical dropout voltage of 310mV, the device is capable of delivering up to 1.5A of output current. The LT3015 typically operates at 1.1mA quiescent current and is reduced to in shutdown

  The LT3015 regulator is stable with a 10μF (min) output capacitor. In addition, the regulator can use small ceramic capacitors without the need to increase ESR as is common with other regulators. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse output protection, accurate current limit with foldback, and thermal limit with hysteresis.

  The LT3015 regulator is available in fixed output voltages of -2.5V, -3V, -3.3V, -5V, -12V and -15V and is available as an adjustable device with a -1.22V reference. The device is available in 5-pin TO-220 and DD-Pak, thermally enhanced 12-pin MSOP, and low profile (only 0.75mm height) 8-lead 3mm × 3mm DFN package.
