  LT^®The 3022 is a very low dropout voltage (VLDO^TM) linear regulator operating from a single-input supply as low as 0.9V. The device can deliver up to 1A of output current and a typical dropout voltage of 145mV. Ideal for low input voltage to low output voltage applications, the LT3022 offers electrical efficiency comparable to switching regulators. The regulator optimizes stability and transient response with low ESR ceramic output capacitors as small as 10μF. Other features of the LT3022 include typical voltage regulation of 0.05% and typical load regulation of 0.05%. In shutdown, quiescent current typically drops to 7.5μA. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, current limit, thermal limit with hysteresis, and reverse current protection.
  
  The LT3022 is available as an adjustable device and has an output voltage range as low as a 200mV reference. Three fixed output voltages are also available: 1.2V, 1.5V, and 1.8V. The LT3022 regulator is available in thermally enhanced low profile (only 0.75mm height) 16-lead (5mm x 3mm) DFN and MSOP packages.
