LT^®3080 是一款 1.1A 低压差线性稳压器，可直接并联以增加输出电流或在表面贴装型电路板上散播热量。该新型稳压器被设计为一款精准电流源和电压跟随器，因而可在许多需要高电流、adjustable to zero且无散热器的应用中使用。而且，该器件还引出了传输晶体管的集电极，以在与多个输入电源一起使用时实现低压差操作 (低至 350mV)。

An important feature of the LT3080 is its ability to provide a wide output voltage range. Using a reference current flowing through a single resistor, the output voltage can be set to any level between 0V and 36V. The LT3080 is stable when using a 2.2μF capacitor at the output, and the IC uses small ceramic capacitors that require no additional ESR, which other regulators often fail to do.

The internal protection circuitry includes current limiting and thermal limiting. The LT3080 regulator is available in an 8-pin MSOP (with an exposed gasket for improved thermal characteristics), 3mm x 3mm DFN, 5-pin DD-Pak, TO-220, and a simple-to-use 3-pin SOT-223 package.
