  The LT3591 is a fixed frequency step-up DC/DC converter specifi cally designed to drive up to ten white LEDs in series from a Li-Ion cell.The device is a fixed-frequency step-up DC/DC converter specifically coaxed to 10 white LEDs in series from the lithium-ion battery. Series connection of the LEDs provides identical LED currents resulting in uniform brightness and eliminating the need for ballast resistors.The connection of the series LEDs provides the same LED current, producing uniform brightness and eliminating the need for ballast resistors.
