description

®The LT 3745 integrates a 16-channel LED driver and a 55V buck controller. Each LED driver channel can light up to 75mA/36V of series LEDs, while buck controllers generate an adaptive bus voltage to power parallel LED strings. Each channel features a separate 6-bit correction current adjustment and 12-bit grayscale PWM dimming capability. Point correction and grayscale levels can be obtained through a serial data interface in the TTL/CMOS logic circuit. Under a current condition of 50mA per channel, it achieves ±3% LED current matching accuracy and a minimum LED conduction time of 0.5μs.

The LT3745 offers comprehensive diagnosis and protection for LED open/short circuit and overheating faults. Fault status is sent back through the serial data interface. The 30MHz full-buffered, rate-balanced, and cascadable serial data interface make this chip extremely suitable for dynamic rear lighting of large-screen LCDs as well as monochrome, multicolor, and full-color LED displays.
