®The LT 3760 is an 8-channel LED driver with a boost DC/DC controller capable of driving LEDs up to 45V. Each channel contains an accurate current absorber with ±2% LED current matching accuracy. Each channel follows a master programmable current to deliver 20mA to 100mA of LED current per string of LEDs. Higher LED currents can be provided by paralleling channels. The output voltage is adapted to the variation in the LED VF for optimal efficiency, and the open LED fault does not affect the operation of the connected LED string.

The LT3760 offers a PWM dimming range of up to 3000:1 and an analog dimming range of up to 25:1. Its operating frequency can be set using a single resistor (from 100kHz up to 1MHz) or synchronized to an external clock.

Other features of the device include a programmable maximum VOUT to provide open LED protection, a fault marker to indicate the open LED circuit, programmable LED current derating in relation to temperature, a micropower shutdown mode, and an internal soft-start function. The LT3760 is available in a thermally enhanced 28-pin TSSOP package.
