    LT®The 6600-2.5 combines a fully differential amplifier with a 4th-order 2.5MHz low-pass filter that approximates Chebyshev frequency response. Most differential amplifiers require many precision external components to trim gain and bandwidth. Unlike this, with the LT6600-2.5, the differential gain can be set by two external resistors, and the filter's 2.5MHz cutoff frequency and passband ripple are set internally. The LT6600-2.5 also provides the level shifts necessary to set its output common-mode voltage to accommodate the reference voltage requirements of A/D.

    The LT6600-2.5 uses a proprietary internal architecture that integrates an antialiasing filter and a differential amplifier/driver without sacrificing distortion or low noise performance. At unity gain, the measured in-band signal-to-noise ratio achieves an impressive 86dB. At higher gains, the input referred noise drops, allowing the device to handle smaller input differential signals without significant degradation of the output signal-to-noise ratio.

    The LT6600-2.5 also has the ability to operate in low voltage conditions. The differential design is provided for one 4VP-PExcellent performance at signal levels, and the device operates from a single 3V supply. The LT6600-2.5 is available in SO-8 and DFN-12 packages.
