• description

  ®The LT 6604-5 contains two matching fully differential amplifiers, each with a fourth-order, 5MHz low-pass filter. A fixed-frequency low-pass filter approximates a Chebyshev response. By integrating a filter and a differential amplifier, the device achieves extremely low distortion and noise. Under unit gain conditions, the measured in-band signal-to-noise ratio is an impressive 82dB. At higher gains, the input reference noise decreases, allowing the device to handle smaller input differential signals without significant degradation of the signal-to-noise ratio. The gain and phase between the two channels match exactly. The gain of each channel is set independently with two external resistors. By providing an adjustable output common-mode voltage, the LT6604-5 achieves level shifting, making it ideal for direct connection to an ADC. The technical specifications for the LT6604-5 are fully formulated for 3V operating voltage. When using a single 3V supply, this differential design achieves excellent performance at signal levels up to 2VP-P.
