description

The LTC1144 is a monolithic CMOS switched capacitor voltage converter. It performs conversion from positive to negative supply voltages from 2V to 18V over a complementary output voltage of -2V to 18V. There are only two non-critical external capacitor charge pumps and are responsible for reservoir functions. The converter has an internal oscillator that can be slowed down by an external clock or when connected to a capacitor overload. When unloaded, the oscillator operates at a frequency of 10kHz. A higher frequency outside the audio band can also be obtained if the boost pin is connected to V+. The SHDN pin, which reduces the supply current to 8μA, allows the converter to save power when not in use. The LTC1144 contains an internal oscillator, divided by two, a voltage level shifter, and four power MOSFETs. A special logic circuit will prevent switching the substrate from the N-channel switching board from the power on.
