description

LTC1163/1165 triple low-voltage MOSFET driver, enabling it to switch power from a 1.8V supply or ground reference load hrough inexpensive, low-RDS(ON) N-channel switch. LTC1165 has an inverting input, allowing it to directly replace the P-channel MOSFET switch while maintaining the polarity of the system driver. LTC1163 has a in-phase input. The micro-operated standby current and the 95μA 0.01μA operating current coupled to the supply voltage range of 1.8V to 6V make the LTC1163/1165 suitable for 2- 4- cell battery-powered applications. The LTC1163/1165 is also well-suited for 3V, 3.3V, and 5V nominal power supply applications. The gate voltage of the 3.3V voltage rail above the boost of the LTC1163/1165 internal charge pump is 8V, which comprehensively increases the N-channel for inexpensive high- or low-side switching applications. Both the LTC1163/1165 feature an 8-pin DIP and an 8-pin SOIC.
