description

LTC1255 dual high-side drivers allow high-side industrial and automotive switching applications using low-cost N-channel FETs. The internal charge pump increases the gate drive voltage of the above positive railway, fully reinforcing the N-channel MOS switch without the need for external components. Low-power operation, 12μA standby current, allows use in almost any system with maximum efficiency. Included on the chip is independent overcurrent detection to provide automatic shutdown in the event of a short circuit. Time delays can be added to the current sense to prevent false high triggering at inrush current loads. LTC1255 operates a supply of 9V to 24V and is suitable for industrial and automotive applications. LTC1255 both use 8-pin DIP and 8-pin SOIC.
