description

The LTC™1257 is a complete single-supply, 12-bit voltage output D/A converter (DAC) in an SO-8 package. LTC1257 includes an output buffer amplifier with a voltage 2.048V reference and an easy-to-use three-wire serial interface cascade. The coverage of the internal reference and output voltage range is extended to 12V and can be used for external reference. With a low supply current of 350μA, it is ideal for battery-powered applications when operating from a 5V LTC1257. The space-saving 8-pin SO package provides the smallest 12-bit D/A system with no external component operation.
