The LTC ® 1314/LTC1315 provide a power switch to control the PCMCIA version 2.0 card slot. When used together with a PC card interface controller, these devices form a complete minimum component count interface for PDAs, pens and notebooks. The LTC1314/LTC1315 provide programming on the 0V, 3.3V, 5V, 12V and HI-Z output power flash VPPs. An internal charge pump generates an inexpensive N-channel 3.3V/5V VCC switch with 12V gate drive. When VPPOUT does not require 12V, the 12V regulator can be turned off. All digital inputs are TTL compatible and interface directly with industry standard PC Card Interface Controllers. The LTC1314 is a 14-lead SO and the LTC1315 is available in a 24-lead SSOP package.
