LTC1346A combines an external resistor termination network with a control signal from an LT ® 1134A RS232 transceiver to form a complete low-power DTE or DCE V.35 interface port. LTC1346A has three current output differential transmitters and three differential receivers. The transceiver can be configured for DTE or DCE operation or shutdown, using three selector pins. In the shutdown state, the supply current is reduced to less than 1μA. LTC1346A transceiver operates at frequencies up to 10 Mbaud. All transmitters function short circuit protection. The transmitter output and receiver output can be forced into a high-impedance state. The transmitter output and receiver input have ± 10kV ESD protection.
