The LTC ® 1435 is a synchronous buck-switching regulator controller that drives an external N-channel power MOSFET using a fixed-frequency architecture. Burst mode ™ operation provides high efficiency at low load currents. A 99% maximum duty cycle limit provides low drop operation and extends the runtime of battery-powered systems.

The operating frequency is optimized by an external capacitor that allows for maximum flexibility and thus optimizes efficiency. The secondary coil feedback control pin, SFB, guarantees forced continuous operation, regulates the load on the main output, regardless of the The SFB pins are pulled down when burst mode operation is prohibited, reducing noise and RF interference.
