The LTC®2601/LTC2611/LTC2621 is a single-channel 16-, 14-, and 12-bit, 2.5V to 5.5V rail-to-rail voltage output DAC packaged in a 10-pin DFN package. They have built-in high-performance output buffers and ensure monotonic characteristics.

These devices establish new board density standards for 16-bit and 14-bit DACs, as well as performance standards for output drive and load regulation for single-supply input, voltage-out DACs.

These devices use a simple SPI/MICROWIRE-compatible three-wire serial interface, which can operate at clock frequencies up to 50MHz. They feature daisy-chain capability, hardware CLR, and asynchronous DAC update (LDAC) pins.

LTC2601/LTC2611/LTC2621 use a power-on reset circuit. During power-on, the voltage output rises below 10mV above the zero scale until a valid write and update operation occurs. This power-on reset circuit resets LTC2601-1/LTC2611-1/LTC2621-1 to the intermediate scale. The voltage output remains on the intermediate scale until a valid write and update operation occurs.
