• description

  The LTC®2606/LTC2616/LTC2626 is a single-channel 16, 14, and 12-bit, 2.7V to 5.5V rail-to-rail output DAC in a 10-pin DFN package. They have built-in high-performance output buffers and are guaranteed to be monotonous.

  These devices establish new board density standards for 16-bit and 14-bit DACs, as well as performance standards for output drive and load regulation for single-supply input, voltage-out DACs.

  The devices feature a two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface. LTC2606/ LTC2616/LTC2626 can operate in both standard mode (100kHz clock frequency) and fast mode (400kHz clock frequency). They also have an asynchronous DAC update pin (LDAC).

  LTC2606/LTC2616/LTC2626 uses a power-on reset circuit. During power-up, the voltage output increase is not greater than 10mV above zero scale; After powering up, they remain at zero scale until a valid write and update operation occurs. The power-on reset circuit resets LTC2606-1/LTC2616-1/LTC2626-1 to the intermediate scale. The voltage output is maintained on the intermediate scale until a valid write and update operation occurs.
