description

The LTC®2636 is an 8-channel family of 12-, 10-, and 8-bit voltage output DACs with an integrated, high-accuracy, low-drift 10ppm/ºC reference in 14-pin DFN and 16-pin MSOP packages. It has a built-in rail-to-rail output buffer and is guaranteed to be monotonous. The LTC2636-L has a 2.5V full-scale output and operates from a single operating supply of 2.7V to 5.5V. The LTC2636-H has a 4.096V full-scale output and operates from a single-operating 4.5V to 5.5V supply. Each DAC can also operate with an external reference that is responsible for setting the DAC's full-scale output to an external reference. These DACs communicate via an SPI / MICROWIRE compatible three-wire serial interface that operates at clock frequencies up to 50MHz. Devices in MSOP packages provide hardware clearing (CLR) and asynchronous DAC update (LDAC) pins. LTC2636 has a built-in power-on reset circuit. Provides the option to reset to zero or to intermediate scale in internal datum mode or to intermediate scale in external datum mode after power-up
