description

The LTC®2755 is a family of quad-channel 12-, 14-, and 16-bit multiplied parallel-input, current-output DACs. These DACs operate from a 2.7V to 5.5V single-operating supply and are all monotonic over the entire temperature range. Without any adjustments, the LTC2755A-16 delivers 16-bit performance (±1 LSB INL and DNL) over the entire temperature range. These SoftSpanTM DACs offer six (2 unipolar and 4 bipolar) output ranges that can be set via parallel interfaces, or can operate in one output range via pin lap. LTC2755 DAC uses a bidirectional input/output parallel interface, enabling readback of any internal registers. A power-on reset circuit is responsible for resetting the DAC output to 0V during the initial power-up. A logic low level on the CLR pin will asynchronous the DAC to 0V over any output range. These devices are available in commercial and industrial temperature range specifications.
