description

LTC^®The 3202 is a low noise, constant frequency charge pump DC/DCconverter, which uses fractional conversion to improve the efficiency of white LED applications. The device can generate a regulated voltage or up to 125mA from a 2.7V to 4.5V input. Low number of external components (V_INand V_OUTTwo jumper capacitors and two small bypass capacitors) make the LTC3202 ideal for small, battery-powered applications.

An internal 2-bit DAC enables LED brightness control by adjusting the LED current. The LTC3202 also features thermal shutdown protection and can safely withstand slave V_OUTContinuous short-circuit conditions to GND. A built-in soft-start circuit is used to prevent excessive inrush current during start-up. The high switching frequency allows the use of small externalitiescapacitor。 A low current shutdown function allows the load to be matched to V_INDisconnect and reduce quiescent current to less than 1μA.

The LTC3202 is available in a 10-lead MSOP package and a 3mm × 3mm DFN package.
