Product Introduction

LTC3490 a single battery provides a 350mA LED driver description The LTC®3490 provides a constant current driver for 1W LED applications. It is a high-efficiency step-up converter that operates from a single or two NiMH or alkaline batteries and produces a constant current of 350mA and meets voltage specifications up to 4V. It contains a 100mΩ NFET switch and a 130mΩ PFET synchronous rectifier. Internally, the fixed switching frequency is set to 1.3MHz. If the output load is disconnected, LTC3490 limits the output voltage to 4.7V. It also has an analog dimming capability that reduces the drive current in proportion to the CTRL/SHDN pin voltage. When the battery voltage drops below 1V per cell, a low battery logic output signal is transmitted. When the battery voltage drops below 0.85V per cell, the undervoltage latching circuit will shut down LTC3490. Internal compensation is implemented for feedback loops to minimize the number of components. apply Portable lighting Rechargeable flash
