description

The LTC ® 660 is a monolithic CMOS switching capacitive voltage converter. It performs conversion from a positive to negative supply voltage from an input range of 1.5V to 5.5V, producing a complementary 1.5V output voltage of ± 5.5V. It also performs a doubling of the input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and a doubling of the output voltage of 5V to 11V. There are only two external capacitive charge pumps and the need to be responsible for the functions of the reservoir. The converter has an internal oscillator that can be clocked by an external clock or slowed down when connected to a capacitor overload. When unloaded, the oscillator operates at a frequency of 10kHz. A higher frequency audio band outside of the band is also available if the BOOST pin is connected to the V+. The LTC660 contains an internal oscillator, divided by two, a voltage level converter, and 4 power MOSFETs.
