The package includes a switch controller, power switch, inductor, and all supporting components. LTM8020 operates from an input voltage range of 4V to 36V and supports an output voltage range of 1.25V to 5V (set by a single resistor). A complete design can be achieved with only a large capacity capacitor. LTM8020 Meets EN55022 radiated emission requirements. Standard filtering devices can be added to meet conducted emission requirements. The compact package (only 2.32mm in height) allows for high-density point-of-load adjustment by utilizing unused space at the bottom of the PC board. LTM8020 is available in a thermally enhanced compact (6.25mm x 6.25mm), flat (only 2.32mm tall) molded resin pad grid array (LGA) package for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment.
