The package includes a switch controller, power switch, inductor, and all supporting components. The LTM8022 operates from an input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V, with an output voltage range of 0.8V to 10V and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz, all set by a single resistor. Designs can be completed with only high-capacity input and output filter capacitors. The low profile (only 2.82mm in height) package allows for high-density point-of-load adjustment by utilizing unused space on the bottom of the PC board. LTM8022 is available in a thermally enhanced compact (11.25mm x 9mm), flat (only 2.82mm height) molded resin pad grid array (LGA) package suitable for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment.
