The LTM®8023 is a complete 2A, DC/DC step-down power supply. The package includes a switch controller, power switch, inductor, and all supporting components. The LTM8023 operates from an input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V and supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 10V and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz, all set by a single resistor. A complete design is achieved with only high-capacity input and output filter capacitors.

The flat package allows for high-density point-of-load adjustment by utilizing unused space on the bottom of the PC board.

LTM8023 is available in thermally enhanced, compact and flat molded pad grid array (LGA) and ball grid array (BGA) packages for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment. LTM8023 is RoHS compliant.
