The package includes a switch controller, power switch, inductor, and support components. LTM8026 operates in an input voltage range of 6V to 36V and supports an output voltage range of 1.2V to 24V. CVCC operation allows LTM8026 to accurately regulate its output current up to 5A over the entire output range. The output current can be set using a control voltage, a single resistor, or a thermistor. A complete design is achieved with only resistors responsible for setting the output voltage and frequency, as well as high-capacity input and output filter capacitors. The low profile (only 2.82mm high) allows for high-density point-of-load adjustment by utilizing unused space on the bottom of the PC board.
