  • description

    LTM®The 8027 is a complete 4A, DC/DC step-down power supply. The switch controller, power switch, inductor, and all supporting components are included in the package. The LTM8027 operates over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 60V (minimum start-up voltage of 7.5V) and supports output voltages up to 24V and a switching frequency range of 100kHz to 500kHz, each set by a single resistor. Only high-capacity input and output filter capacitors are required to achieve a complete design.

    Thanks to the low profile (only 4.32mm in height), unused space on the bottom of the pc board can be utilized for high-density point-of-load regulation. The built-in soft-start timer can be adjusted with the help of a small capacitor.

    The LTM8027 is available in a thermally enhanced compact (15mm x 15mm), low profile (only 4.32mm height) molded resin pad grid array (LGA) package for automated assembly with standard surface mount equipment. The LTM8027 is Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
