The device is an adjustable frequency step-down switching regulator with a quiescent current consumption of only 5μA. The LTM8029 can accept an input up to 36VIN and can operate at low input voltages thanks to its shutdown time skip capability. Burst mode operation maintains high efficiency at low output current and suppresses output ripple to a very low level. The RUN pin has an accurate threshold with a stop current of 0.9μA. When VOUT reaches 90% of its programmed output voltage, a power good mark will signal an indication. LTM8029 Compact (11.25mmx6.25mm), Flat (only 3.42mm height) molded resin ball grid array (BGA) package with enhanced thermal performance for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment.
