LTM^®The 8031 is an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) 36V, 1A DC/DC μModule^®Step-down converters designed to meet the radiated emission requirements of the EN55022 standard. Conducted emission requirements can be met by adding standard filter components. The package includes a switching controller, power switch, inductor, filter, and all supporting components. Operating over an input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V, the LTM8031 supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 10V and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz, both set by a single resistor. Only high-capacity input and output filter capacitors are required to achieve a complete design. The low profile (only 2.82mm in height) package allows unused space on the bottom of the pc board to be utilized for high-density point-of-load regulation.

The LTM8031 is available in a thermally enhanced, compact (9mm x 15mm), low profile (only 2.82mm height) molded resin pad grid array (LGA) package for automated assembly with standard surface mount equipment. The LTM8031 is RoHS compliant.
