LTM®The 8032 is an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) 36V, 2A DC/DC μModule®Step-down converters designed to meet the radiated emission requirements of the EN55022 standard. Conducted emission requirements can be met by adding standard filter components. The package includes a switching controller, power switch, inductor, filter, and all supporting components. Operating over an input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V, the LTM8032 supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 10V and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz, both set by a single resistor. Only high-capacity input and output filter capacitors are required to achieve a complete design. Thanks to the low profile package, unused space on the bottom of the pc board can be utilized for high-density point-of-load regulation.

The LTM8032 is available in thermally enhanced compact and low profile molded resin pad grid array (LGA) and ball grid array (BGA) packages for automated assembly with standard surface mount equipment. The LTM8032 is RoHS compliant.
