description

The LTM®8032 is an electromagnetically compatible (EMC) 36V, 2A DC/DC μModule® step-down converter designed for EN55022 compliant radiated emission requirements. Conducted emission requirements can be met by adding standard filter elements. The package includes a switch controller, power switch, inductors, filters, and all supporting components. The LTM8032 operates from an input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V, supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 10V, and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz, all set by a single resistor. A complete design is achieved with only high-capacity input and output filter capacitors. The flat package allows for high-density point-of-load regulation by utilizing unused space at the bottom of the PC board. LTM8032 Available in compact and low profile molded resin pad grid array (LGA) and bulb grid array (BGA) packages with enhanced heat resistance for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment. LTM8032 RoHS compliant.
