LTM^®The 9003 is a 12-bit digital predistortion μModule^®The receiver subsystem for the transmit path of the cellular base station. The device uses an integrated system-in-package (SiP) technique that includes a downconverting mixer, wideband filter, and analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The system is adjusted for a 184MHz intermediate frequency (IF) and a signal bandwidth up to 125MHz. This 12-bit ADC has a sample rate of up to 250Msps. High signal level downconversion active mixers are optimized for high linearity, wide dynamic range IF sampling applications. It includes a differential LO buffer amplifier to drive a double-balanced mixer. Wideband, integrated converters on the RF and LO inputs provide a single-ended 50Ω interface. Internally match the RF and LO inputs to 50Ω from 1.1GHz to 1.8GHz.

The CLK input controls converter operation and can be driven differential or single-ended. An optional clock duty cycle stabilizer achieves high performance at full speed and multiple clock duty cycles.
