The M212 is a bidirectional, single-pole, single-throw, normally closed miniature 4 multi-purpose solid-state relay pin small form factor package. It is used to replace electromechanical relays in general-purpose switching applications. The relay consists of an integrated driver circuit, two rugged source-to-source-exhausted DMOS transistors – opto-coupled to a light-emitting diode. The output MOS transistor is protected with freewheeling diodes that can handle inrush currents up to 1.5A, making lamp switching relays ideal for highly inductive loads. Features High input-to-output isolation Low input control power consumption Maximum continuous load current of 100mA 35 ohms Maximum on-resistance Long life/high reliability Ultra-small 4-pin form factor package RoHS compliant/lead-free/REACH compliant Applied Telecom Switching Prompt/Loop Control Modules for PCMCIA Multiplexers Meter Reading Systems Data Acquisition Medical Devices Battery Monitoring Home/Safety Assurance Systems Options/Suffixes
